This past month has been one of the hardest seasons of my life. Dealing with pain from my prophylactic double mastectomy and preparing for my upcoming reconstruction surgery, losing another dear friend to cancer, navigating back-to-school chaos, juggling finances, and trying to keep my business alive — there have been moments where the weight of it all felt unbearable.

And yet… I’m still here. Still creating. Still believing. Still glowing. ✨

I’ve learned that grief doesn’t ask for permission — it arrives, uninvited, and demands space in your life. But even in the middle of heartbreak, fear, and uncertainty, we get to choose how we show up for ourselves and for the people who need us. That’s what GLOW means to me right now — not pretending the pain isn’t there, but allowing my light to shine through it anyway.

G – Ground Yourself in Grace 🌿

Some days, simply getting out of bed feels like a victory. I’ve learned to give myself permission to slow down, breathe, and feel. Healing isn’t linear — there are days of tears, laughter, and everything in between. Grace means showing up exactly as I am without apology.

L – Lean Into Love 💞

This journey has reminded me just how much we need each other. My family, my Renewed Tribe, and the community surrounding sHe Is Renewed have carried me in ways I’ll never forget. Love is what steadies me when the world feels unsteady.

Even in my lowest moments, I’ve chosen to show up for myself, my business, and my mission. The glow we carry isn’t about perfection — it’s about choosing to rise, again and again, even when it’s hard. Pain doesn’t dim our purpose; it shapes it.

Grief changes us, but it doesn’t have to define us. Every day, I choose to walk forward — not forgetting what I’ve lost, but honoring it by living fully. Renewal is a journey, one step, one prayer, one deep breath at a time.

Finding My Glow in the Midst of Pain

 

Even on my hardest days, I’m reminded that taking a moment to care for myself — with the products I’ve poured so much love into — allows me to shine a little brighter, inside and out. Whether it’s lighting a candle, nourishing my skin with a butter I created, or simply pausing for stillness, I’m learning that my glow comes not from perfection, but from choosing me each day.

Through this journey, I’ve discovered that the light we carry on the outside often begins deep within. And that glow? It’s a reflection of strength, resilience, and faith.
